About Courses

The AUR50216 Diploma of Automotive Technology at Albury College, Australia, is a comprehensive program designed for individuals aiming to advance their skills in diagnosing, evaluating, designing, and modifying vehicle systems within the automotive retail, service, and repair industry. Delivered both face-to-face at the Parramatta campus and through online learning, the course runs for 40 weeks, including 32 weeks of tuition and 8 weeks of holidays. International students must meet entry requirements such as being 18 years or older, having completed Year 12 or equivalent, and demonstrating English proficiency through IELTS 6.0 or an equivalent test. The course fee is $11,500, with an additional $500 enrolment fee. Students will engage in a variety of assessments including knowledge questions, case studies, research projects, and practical demonstrations. The training blends classroom theory with simulated industry-based tasks to develop advanced diagnostic and technical skills. While no licensing requirements apply, the qualification prepares graduates for roles like Advanced Diagnostic Technician. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT) options are available for eligible students. After completion, students may pursue further studies in automotive or related fields. The enrolment process involves submitting an application, accepting an offer, and attending an orientation that covers campus life, support services, and academic expectations.
